MyAmazeLand celebrates a Green Diwali

Diwali is the festival of lights, and the brightest lights are diyas, lamps and happy faces. We draw sparklers and flower pots in our puzzles, but we celebrate quietly and kindly: fewer loud crackers, cleaner air for little lungs, and calm for pets, birds and grandparents. The free PDF includes a Green Diwali Pledge your child can colour and sign.

Ideas for using these puzzles

During the Diwali holidays, print one puzzle a day so the fun lasts the whole break.
Let older children solve a secret code and then write their own Diwali message in code for a cousin.
In class, the word searches are a gentle way to learn festival words: say each word aloud and talk about what it means at home.
Make it a Green Diwali: print the pledge in the PDF, let children tick off each promise, and stick it on the fridge.

When is Diwali in 2026?

Diwali falls on Sunday, 8 November 2026. These puzzles work any time during the festival holidays.

Why a Green Diwali?

Loud crackers and smoke are hard on young children, pets and the air we share. Our puzzles celebrate with diyas, rangoli, lanterns and sweets, and the PDF has a Green Diwali Pledge for children to sign.

Which puzzles suit a 5 year old?

The ten in the Ages 4–5 group, which use the easiest levels: small mazes, a short word search, 4 × 4 picture sudoku, simple sums and patterns.

Do they come with answers?

Yes. Every puzzle has an answer key, and "Print all 30 with answers" prints them after the puzzles, or download everything as one PDF.
